rob_daleRev. Rob Dale: Lead Pastor

Rev is an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (P.A.O.C.). He has served in a variety of church roles including youth, assistant, family ministries, associate and senior pastor. The churches he has ministered in range in size from 80 to over 800, and include both rural and suburban congregations.

Rev was born and raised in Ottawa. His father went to prison when Rev was a young boy, and he spent the next seventeen years in and out of prison. Rev, along with his brother and sister, were raised by his mom.

When Rev was twelve years old, his mom met and married a hardcore biker. During his early teen years, Rev can remember coming home to find Harleys lining the street outside their house, and biker parties happening inside.

At seventeen, Rev was introduced to God’s love through  a church in Orleans, Ontario. He soon felt the call of God into full-time ministry, and headed to Bible College where he earned a Bachelor of Religious Education Degree.

Rev met his wife, Heather, during his final year of college, and together they began to minister whatever way God called them.

In 1999, Rev and Heather, along with their two daughters, moved back to Ottawa to begin ministry in the National Capital Region. The following year, God put a burden on their hearts to reach out to the biker community of this region.

The Bikers’ Church, which was launched in January 2002, is a result of this desire to touch the lives of the biker community.

CamCameron Dunn: Music & Youth Pastor

Cam, who has yet to be given a cool biker name, is a fun loving guy with aspirations of one day winning a hot dog eating contest and growing a big bushy ‘biker’ beard. A punk kid with no credentials, other than what what he feels is the call of God on his life and a love of music.

[Insert Cool Biker Name Here] was born in Winnipeg to an Air Force family on a beautiful June day in 1986 and for some reason has been called by his middle name ever since. The family bounced around a couple times before settling for good in the Nation’s Capital in the early 90′s where he got his first pair of skates and found an old beat up guitar. He met Jesus for the first time when he was about 10, and his wife a few years after that. It wasn’t until about a decade later that he realized the significance of either meeting.

What started as an invitation to come and play a few songs at a church that seems to be making molds, rather than fitting in to them, has become much more than that and is quickly evolving as we watch God do his thing.

p.s. The hot dog thing was a joke.
