2 Paths, 7 Choices
Last week, we introduced our new series, Seven Choices by suggesting that there are two roads we can take: the road of self or the road of faith. One road leads to destruction, the other to abundant living. Obviously, we want to figure out which road we should journey on.
This week, we begin to dissect the seven choices we will have to make on these roads. The first choice is between the deadly sin of pride vs. the blessing of being poor in spirit. What do those look like? What does it really mean to be prideful? How do you live out being poor in spirit? And can you jump from one road to the other?
