There is a powerful passage found in 1 Peter 2:21
For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps.
What does it mean to be called? Do we all have a calling? And just what does the message of Easter have to do with that calling?
The word Kaleo means “to call”. It’s the word found in the Scripture above. What is it that we’ve been called into? Join us in person or online for this series.
Week One: Called To Follow
What if your calling and purpose could be summed up in one sentence? Would you want to know what it was? Would you live your life differently if you focused each day on the very thing you were created for? In the first part of this series, we look at the ultimate purpose for our lives … we are called to follow.

Week Two: Called To Care
It didn’t matter how busy he was or what circumstances he was facing, Jesus always had compassion for those in need. He passion was touching the lives of those around him. As his followers, we are called to show the same level of care and compassion. That’s what this message is all about.

Week Three: Called To Conquer
Part three of the series took place on the Thursday before Easter weekend. It is the ultimate weekend in the life of a Christ follower. Good Friday: the day that Jesus paid the price for sin and shame. Easter Sunday: the day when he conquered death. As his followers, this weekend reminds us that nothing is impossible with God. We too are called to conquer.

Week Four: Called To Connect
When you think about it, the idea that God sent his son into the world in order to connect in relationship with us, is an amazing concept. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for us. In the same way, we are called to connect to the community around us. Are we willing to do whatever it takes to touch the lives of those we come into contact with?
